Job DutiesEMPLOYER: The Aagard Group, LLCJOB TITLE: Industrial Automation Engineering Technician (Multiple Openings)Job Location: 3711 Iowa St, Alexandria, MN 56308JOB DUTIES: Responsible for performing machine testing to ensure high-quality automated packing equipment meets and exceeds performance expectations. Specific duties include: (1) Conducting audits to verify machine is built to design intent; (2) Performing machine testing to verify machine functionality to meet customer requirements; (3) Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical assembly issues and assisting with corrective actions; (4) Participating in design reviews to improve design quality and manufacturability; (5) Supporting engineers with mechanical and electrical assembly issues, CAD model updates, and part releases; (6) Investigating root cause of assembly issues and implementing corrective actions; (7) Assisting with designing and implementing shop floor projects; (8) Delivering training to internal and external customers on Human Machine Interference and machine operation; (9) Assisting team with machine assembly in accordance with company standards, prints, and customer specifications; (10) Identifying and resolving issues efficiently and providing feedback to engineering.REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related; ability to draw and detail CAD drawings and operate CAD software; understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, machinery, and assembly environments; knowledge of blueprint reading.
