Medical Laboratory Tech II PRN

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Performs moderate and high complexity testing in some or all areas of the Laboratory, including Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Serology, and Blood Bank. Medical Laboratory Technicians key responsibilities include proper patient and specimen identification, adherence to testing policies and procedures, instrument use and troubleshooting, and computer functions. Work closely with Phlebotomists, Medical Technologists, Nursing, and Physicians to provide patient care. Schedule: PRN Education: 2 year college program or equivalent experience Field of Study: Medical Technology / Laboratory Science or equivalent Licensures/Registration: MLT(ASCP), CLT(NCA), MLT(HEW) or eligible or completion of a Military medical laboratory procedures training courses as a Medical Laboratory Specialist. Certification required within 6 months of employment Pay Range: * $21.79 - $32.68 per hour * Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
