Get to Know Your Team: * New Mexico Heart Institute has over 30 years of diagnostic, interventional, and preventive cardiovascular expertise. Our team of over 50 providers uses state-of-the-art technology, offering the latest treatment options for all types of heart and vascular conditions. Responsibilities * The technologist will perform interrogations of pacemakers and implantable defibrillator's. * Monitor, write reports, and manage remote patient interrogations. * Identify critical device and/or patient issues and bring them to the attention of the provider, and maintain the device database. * Assists cardiologists with cardiac procedures and exams. * Maintains and monitors systems, equipment, and supplies for the assigned department. * Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Qualifications Job Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED equivalent. * Knowledge of a variety of software applications programs. * Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Radiation Safety procedures. * Pacemaker programming experience * ACLS * BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. * National Certification. * CCSD, IBHRE, and CRAT certifications are required within the first year. Preferred Job Requirements: * Associate's Degree in CVT program from an accredited institution.
