Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Traveling Plant & Operations Maintenance Director to join the Aramark Healthcare+ West Region, providing hands?on leadership and operational support across acute care accounts throughout the region. This role steps into vacant, transitional, or challenged environments to stabilize operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen client confidence, frequently serving as the most senior on?site operational leader. The position requires 100% travel, adaptability for short?notice assignments, and may transition into a permanent account or broader leadership role based on business needs and performance.Compensation & BenefitsCompensation: The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with applicable law, including, but not limited to, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, the California Fair Chance Act, and the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance to the extent that those laws apply to the opportunity.Job ResponsibilitiesPlans, administers, and directs all activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services across assigned healthcare accounts, ensuring compliance with Aramark Healthcare standards, regulatory agencies, and client requirementsRapidly assesses operational performance in vacant, troubled, or transitional accounts and implements corrective action plans to stabilize safety, compliance, financial performance, and patient satisfactionDrives adherence to Aramark operating program standards, preventive maintenance programs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, safety, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standardsProvides oversight of all utility and building systems, including electrical, HVAC/R, boilers, chillers, plumbing, water treatment, energy management, fire safety, life safety systems, and groundsServes as the primary client?facing leader for plant operations, maintaining strong relationships with hospital leadership through visible presence, communication, and roundingLeads, mentors, and manages Facility and Maintenance Supervisors and front?line employees, ensuring engagement, development, accountability, and compliance with HR policiesOversees vendor management, including service contracts, performance monitoring, and cost controlsDevelops operational forecasts, manages component accounting functions, supports capital budget planning, and explains financial variancesEnsures consistent utilization of ISIS Pro and related systems to manage preventive maintenance and operational performanceIdentifies opportunities for operational improvement, service recovery, and potential Aramark service expansionDemonstrates flexibility, resilience, and independent judgment in a high?travel role, including managing short?notice deployments and travel disruptionsAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers.
