Delta Group Electronics is looking for a Quality Assurance Test Supervisor to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you'll perform advanced testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to ensure our electronic assemblies meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Summary Plans, directs, coordinates, and controls the daily activities of the Test department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Prioritizes and organizes work assignments and delegates those assignments. Maintains workflow, ensuring availability of proper materials. Manages labor requirements for the department. Determines methods and sequence of test operations where complete information is not readily available. Ensures assemblies are tested at a pace consistent with the assigned expected times. Completes tracking documents and other related paperwork as required. Observes employees in assigned work area ensuring all housekeeping, health and safety regulation are followed. Trains new and less experienced employees in proper procedures. Ability to perform all of the technical duties of the Test Tech II position. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Manages 2-15 subordinate employees in the Test department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two or three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree is in Engineering preferred. Three to five years related experience and/or training in the electronics field. Language Skills Proficiency reading, writing, and speaking English to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Computer Skills Perform moderately complex computer tasks as assigned. Intermediate skills required.
