Job Description:
Proposal Coordinator DJ&A is seeking a full-time Proposal Coordinator with 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting the development of high-quality, persuasive, and compliant qualification-based proposals and other marketing collateral. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and a strong writer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person takes initiative, manages multiple deadlines effectively, and is passionate about quality and collaboration. The selected candidate will join a thriving team that plays a central role in DJ&A's continued growth and success. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Proposal Coordination: Coordinate the development, production, and submission of proposals, including schedules, assignments, and internal review cycles to meet deadlines. Content Development: Write, edit, and format proposal content and resumes to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with client-focused messages. Quality Control: Support and coordinate quality control reviews to ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and compliant with RFQ/RFP requirements. Content Management: Assist in maintaining and improving DJ&A's proposal content library and CRM database, including project summaries, staff resumes, and firm qualifications. Market Research: Conduct background research on clients, opportunities, and competitors to help guide strategic positioning and pursuit decisions. Proposal Tracking: Monitor industry websites and publications, distribute opportunities for go/no-go review, and track proposal outcomes. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the A/E/C industry Excellent writing and editing skills Strong organizational and time management abilities High attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment Strong alignment with DJ&A Core Values Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Preferred Qualifications B.A. or B.S. in communications, business, marketing, journalism or related degree field or equivalent work experience Experience as a proposal coordinator or similar role for an A/E consulting firm Location Any DJ&A office Salary and Benefits Full-time weekdays, 40 hours per week, 9/80 work schedule, occasional overtime to meet deadlines Base pay of $24- $32 per hour, depending on experience and location Excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and profit sharing, long-term disability, performance bonuses, paid time off, and ten paid holidays Please submit both your cover letter and resume as part of your application.
