Job Description:
The incumbent is directly supported by department supervisors who in turn directly supervise production workers in multiple manufacturing departments. The operational area encompasses several diverse production departments and teams in the manufacturing facility. The incumbent's role focuses heavily on planning, control and coordination with various units in the organization. You will lead operations improvement projects that involve other areas of the organization.The incumbent is a member of the facility senior staff and works closely with other Managers to achieve best in quality processes and production.Safety, quality, service and cost are the major criteria of job performance Lead the daily execution of the production schedule to meet customer requirements. Monitor OEE, throughput yield, scrap, downtime, and other key process indicators (KPIs). Develop operational process indicators (OPIs) and set clear production expectations to drive the performance and improvement of KPIs. Utilize visual and performance management to ensure OPIs are being tracked and drive improvement. Manage labor, material usage, waste, and consumable costs within budget. Support continuous improvement projects and project to reduce costs and improve performance. Direct, coach, and develop department and shift supervisors and production teams. Establish staffing plans, manage attendance and overtime, and ensure adequate shift coverage. Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Work closely with supply chain, quality, maintenance, and EHS to ensure seamless operations. Communicate daily production results, issues, and priorities to plant leadership. Ensure clear and standardized shift handoff processes. Collaborate with Maintenance and Planning to prioritize and schedule planned/unplanned work. Support reliability initiatives, PM completion, and asset care programs. Make safe and informed decisions on equipment startup/shutdown. Ensure products meet all quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Partner with Quality to address nonconformances and implement corrective and preventive actions. Maintain audit readiness and drive a "Right First Time" mindset. Foster a zero-injury culture and ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Conduct routine safety audits and lead investigations for incidents, near misses; determine root causes and identify and implement. corrective actions. Ensure all production staff across all shifts are trained, competent, and following standard work. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT or related degree The incumbent is required to have 2-5 years work-related experience. Production Management skills are also preferred. Knowledge of systems design and architecture Strong Excel & Presentation skills required Project Management Must work safely and independently. Wears required safety equipment: hearing protection, safety shoes, safety glasses, and cut resistant gloves. Keeps work area in order and clean per company 5S standards. Provided is the national pay range for this position, which is $102,000 to $158,000 per year.However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $115,260-TTC to $178,540-TTC.
