Position Summary The Quality, Safety, & Environmental (QSE) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining programs that promote a safe work environment, high-quality operations, and environmentally responsible practices across agricultural, manufacturing, and retail store operations. This role works collaboratively with managers and employees at all levels to ensure regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability. Key ResponsibilitiesSafety & OSHA Compliance Develop, implement, and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs across all business units Conduct regular job hazard analyses, risk assessments, and safety inspections Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans Maintain OSHA logs, reporting, and required documentation Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and inspections Training & Employee Engagement Develop and deliver safety, quality, and environmental training programs for employees and managers Ensure onboarding, refresher, and role-specific training requirements are met Promote employee involvement in safety and quality initiatives Coach leaders and employees on best practices and compliance expectations Quality/Environmental Management Develop and oversee quality assurance and quality control programs Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement Partner with operations teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence Implement environmentally responsible practices in alignment with local, state, and federal regulations Monitor waste management, chemical handling, and environmental impact Ensure proper documentation and compliance with environmental reporting requirements Productivity, Audits, Costs & Continuous Improvement Plan and conduct internal safety, quality, and environmental audits Support external audits and regulatory inspections Track corrective actions and ensure timely resolution Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk, and increase efficiency Manage Workers Compensation Claims OSHA Logs, Analytics, and Compliance Audit Completion rates Teamwork, Communication & Collaboration Work closely with managers and frontline employees to drive results Clearly communicate policies, procedures, and expectations Prepare reports and present findings to leadership Foster a culture of open communication, accountability, and continuous improvement QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred 3-5+ years of experience in safety, quality, and/or environmental management Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements Experience conducting training, audits, and inspections Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively across agriculture, manufacturing, and retail environments Preferred OSHA 30, CSP, ASP, CQE, or similar certifications Experience with multi-site operations Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices Bilingual (English/Spanish) Core Competencies Collaborative leadership Strong organizational and analytical skills Attention to detail Problem-solving and root cause analysis Ability to influence and drive cultural change Working Conditions Combination of office, manufacturing, agricultural, and retail environments Ability to travel between locations as needed Occasional exposure to industrial and agricultural environments
