This role ensures the safe execution of field and project work while meeting or exceeding client expectations.The Site Safety Project Manager will work with a diverse client base including private industry, utilities, municipalities, school districts, universities, and government agencies.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as Site Health & Safety Officer on environmental remediation and construction projectsMonitor contractor compliance with site-specific Health & Safety Plans (HASPs), specifications, and regulatory requirementsDeliver daily safety toolbox talks in conjunction with morning tail gate meetings. On-board site personnel and sub-contractors by reviewing the Site-Specific HASP and owner requirements and provide site briefings to visitors and personnel who missed the morning tailgate meeting. Prepare Lift Plans with the participation of the equipment operatorObserve site activities to identify and resolve unsafe conditions such as personal protective equipment issues, potential for struck by and caught between hazards, falls from heights, etc.Maintain safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, AED, etc.Record safety documentation and maintain key safety metricsMentor and coach site personnel in occupational health and safety principles.
