Programmer - HBITS-04-03384Albany , New York , United States | ContractApply with Linkedin Apply with Indeed ApplyProgrammer - Job ID #HBITS-04-03384Albany, NY, United States/ 2 Year ContractAPPLICATION CLOSING DATE: 04-04-2016PROGRAMMERAPPLY ONLINE FOR IMMEIDATE CONSIDERATION - Analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team Maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work Write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions Skill Level – Expert, 7 yearsResponsibilities:• Gather business requirements• Document requirements and solutions• Write technical specifications• Code, test, and implement software modules• Review code and test results of other programmers• Create physical database work tables and temporary tables and indexes• Coordinate and conduct Unit, System and Stress testing• Helpdesk Tickets (Day to Day questions and issues).• Small Changes requested from the Business Users.Required Skills: At least 7 years experience writing PowerBuilder Code. At least 3 years experience with component transaction servers (Middleware CTS). At least 3 years experience with Sybase databases. This includes designing Tables, Triggers, Stored Procedures and writing SQL. At least 5 years experience with gathering requirements and creating design documents.
