Travel Operating Room Nurse

Requirements Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting. Active RN License. Degree from an accredited nursing program. BLS & ACLS Certifications. Duties and Responsibilities As an Operating Room / Perioperative Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care for surgical patients by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing interventions tailored to surgical needs. Acting as a patient educator and serving as a circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse. Circulating nurses will work within the operating suite, outside of the sterile field. Scrub nurses will manage and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
