Camp Health Supervisor Position Description: The Camp Health Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all campers and staff. Working in close collaboration with counselors and administrative staff, the Camp Health Supervisor responds to daily medical needs and emergencies, provides appropriate care, and helps create a safe, healthy camp environment. Responsibilities: Deliver first aid and emergency care according to camp procedures. Prepare and distribute first aid kits to cabins, wagons, the kitchen, offices, equine areas, and all activity locations. Check and restock first aid kits weekly. Complete and maintain required reports and logs, including daily treatment logs, medication logs, health logs, accident/illness reports, and insurance forms. Collect prescribed medications from campers and staff and dispense them according to required instructions. Respond quickly and appropriately in medical emergencies and determine when outside treatment is necessary. Minimum age: 21. Prior experience providing front line medical care as a medical assistant or RN or currently pursuing medical certification for RN or LPN. Current BLS/First Aid/CPR certification. Valid driver's license with at least three years of driving experience; must be willing and able to drive camp vehicles. Maintain physical health and stamina required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 40 lbs. Commit to all 4 weeks plus the additional training week.
