Physician - Family Medicine

The Family Physician directs and oversees the provision of and provides quality care to those patients assigned to him/her consistent with guidelines contained within the quality management, risk management, infection control, customer service and safety programs for Hamdard Healthcare. Location qualifies for NHSC student loan repayment. * Assures the daily health center patient load is seen in a timely and clinically appropriate manner. * Completes all progress notes with date/time immediately following the patient visit. * Participates in after hours call rotation and responds to after hours calls within 20 minutes when on-call. * Adheres to approved Hamdard Healthcare treatment protocols. * Effectively demonstrates required competencies in the provision of educational, case management, triage and medication administration services. * Adheres to the organization's mission-based approach "to promote physical and emotional health and psychological well being of individuals and families by offering hope, health, and healing." * Provide coverage at 228 E. Lake Street Addison IL * Provider coverage will not include On-Call hours as Hamdard has a service providing this after hours work. Qualifications: * Advanced Study: Broad or in-depth knowledge which would be acquired and demonstrated through the attainment of a Doctor Osteopathy (D.O.) or a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Degree. * Completed Residency in Primary Care specialty is required and Board Certification in their primary care specialty is preferred. * Three (3) years work experience in the practice of primary care medicine in a community health center is required. Salary compensated based on years of experience. * Current Illinois Registration * One Saturday a month availability required * Must have EHR experience.
