Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity:RN - ICU Job Details:• Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery• Provide care for patients with a broad range of medical conditions in the ICU/CCU setting• Must live 150 miles or more from facility• May be required to float to different floors or other campus locations• Travel experience preferred• 2 years of experience in service line required• Required certifications: RN license, BCLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)• Texas RN license required with license in hand for submittal• Altera charting system experience preferred but not required• Must complete orientation modules (average 6-8 hours, non-billable)• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer• Hard document due date: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date• May accommodate requested time off if able to work full hours around time off or missing only 1-2 shifts maximum• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)• Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing Facility:This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical center providing critical care services to the community.
