Job Title: System Administrator Task Lead - Gtmo- 4695Job Location: Panama City, FL 32401Job Summary:Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals as a Systems Administrator in the high-stakes environment of the U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (NSGB) IT Services Program.Your primary mission will be to provide operational and maintenance (O&M) support for critical system infrastructure, ensuring seamless functionality for approximately 400 users across NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS networks.Your role will extend to O&M support for Special Access System infrastructure for approximately 150 users and Printer infrastructure, including Pharos Secure Print. You will be at the forefront of technology, tasked with developing, implementing, managing, and maintaining Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for a variety of clients and server virtualization technologies.Additionally, you'll be responsible for the health and performance of the SQL Database infrastructure and OMC server and desktop-based software applications. Data integrity is paramount, and you'll provide robust data backup and restoration capabilities for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, and Special Access Systems.Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the replication of network file share volumes via Distributed Files System w/ Replication (DFS-R) between the NCR and NSGB locations. You'll also provide crucial support for storage area network (SAN) and encrypted file storage capabilities, ensuring data security and pliance with DOD security standards is a top priority, and you'll play a key role in creating and maintaining standalone workstation images.
