Education: Must be a graduate of a respiratory therapy program. License/Certification: Must have successfully completed the Registered Respiratory Therapist and Perinatal Specialist Exam (NPS Credential) administered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). New hires into this position have one year from date of hire to pass the Perinatal Specialist Exam (NPS Credential) from the NBRC. Must have current certification in CPR. Must have NRP, Stable, ACLS and PALS Certifications or obtain within 6 months from date of hire or transfer. Experience: Prefer minimum of 1 year NICU and Pediatric ICU experience. Other Qualification: Other Qualifications Must be able to be able to be on call. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. New hires into this position must complete orientation within one year of date of hire into position. Must maintain active air and ground transport capability.
