Job Description:

Geospatial Analyst is an entry-level full-time position with career progression opportunities. The role is assigned to infrastructure survey projects to support installation management at Fort Bragg, Geospatial Analysts proficient in ESRI's ArcGIS suite of products should apply. Must have experience with cartography, map reading, geospatial database creation and design, and methods of geospatial data development and data management.Responsibilities:Use GIS to support Fort Bragg Garrison Commander in urban planning and installation managementUtilize GPS and other tools to locate and map utilities and infrastructurePerform analysis on geospatial information and create concise reports or maps displaying the results of the analysisProvide customer service to various military and civilian customersEnsure detailed data quality standards are consistently maintainedRequirements:Must be a US Citizen and capable of passing a background investigationSolid proficiency in Esri ArcGIS with ArcGIS Pro experience a plusTech savvy and always on the lookout for ways to improve our systems and processesSolid proficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent written, verbal, and customer service skills1 - 3 years of GIS experience is desired which may be professional, military, or educational experienceBenefits:Employer Paid Medical InsuranceDental and Vision Insurance401kPTOTuition ReimbursementPhysical Requirements:Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.
