Internship - Strategic FinanceThis twelve-week full-time internship is scheduled to begin in June.We are seeking to identify candidates for full-time roles based on this internship experience.Portland, OR - HybridIdaho, Oregon, Utah or Washington - RemoteStrategic Finance provides trusted analysis and comprehensive recommendations that empower our partners to realize optimal value for Cambia and the members we serve. The team will proactively foster data driven behavior while building long-term collaborative relationships.Become a team member of the Strategic Finance Team within the Finance Division.Duties and opportunities include:Perform research and financial analysis to support business initiatives and decision making, including market and competitive analysis, growth projections, pro-forma financial statement preparation and business valuationAssist in divisional budget forecasting and communication to stakeholdersDemonstrate solid working knowledge of advanced financial concepts and principles and invest the time necessary to quickly come up to speed on new business ideas and conceptsBuilds relationships with a range of stakeholders, including members of the Strategic Finance Team, cross-functional peers, and senior business partnersAssist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis as neededCombine your education and analytical ability with the following skills to meet the position qualifications:Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree in Business or Finance. Minimum 3 years college education completed and one year from graduation preferred.Exposure to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), principles of cost accounting and allocations is helpful, but not required.Knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques (i.e., discounted cash flow analysis, financial modeling)Ability to think analytically and make sound judgments from analysisAbility to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of the work forceAbility to plan, organize and manage work with minimal supervision, while collaborating to achieve department goals and objectives consistent with corporate vision and strategiesRequired intermediate skill level of Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeRequired minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0Must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust reside in Idaho, Oregon, Utah or Washington during the internship
