MISSION / SUMMARY: The position of Truck Driver is to provide yard management of trailers as well as manage loads in / out of dock doors. EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE: * Must possess a Class A CDL * Possess or be able to attain a HZMT Endorsement * Understands DOT rules / regulations * Must have high school diploma or equivalent. * Maintaining and promoting compliance of safety policies and procedures. * Ability to continue progressive learning and adaption to other department positions. DESIRED SKILLS: * Strong oral and written communication skills * Leadership skills * Ability and desire to work in team environment SCHEDULE DEMANDS: * Must be able to work a flexible rotating shift schedule; ability to work 6 days consistently * Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and all shifts. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Sitting for extended periods. * Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs * Climbing ladders, stairs, catwalks; balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or movement within confined areas. * Work in buildings and areas of fluctuating temperature and weather.
