Line Cook - Sunriver PubSummer Bonus Program: Earn an additional $3 an hour between Memorial Day and Labor Day! Paid out every 4 weeks. (must average min. 25hrs a week, overtime hours are not applicable)Company Overview:Sunriver Brewing Company is a family-owned business founded in Central Oregon in 2012. We're looking for a Line Cook to join our team and operations at our Sunriver Pub in Sunriver.Line Cook - Position Summary:Helps prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef's exact specifications.You will be responsible for preparing food, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.Pay Range from $18-$22 with an additional average tip allocation from $2-$6/hour.Line Cook - Major Areas of Responsibility:Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks Cooking food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.Plating prepared foodsWorking with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on timeWashing and cleaning the kitchen and storing the equipment at the end of shifts Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulationsAll other duties as assigned.Line Cook - Job Requirements & Skills:Food Handler's PermitCulinary school training would be advantageous.Experience as a line cook may be advantageous.Manual dexterity to operate cooking tools such as knives.Prior knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods ideal.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Physical endurance to work long shifts in a busy environment.Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.High school diplomaBenefits:Complimentary Shift MealDaily $2 Shift BeerPackaged Beer DiscountsFood Discounts at all Sunriver Brewing Company PubsMedical and Dental InsuranceRetail DiscountsOR Sick LeaveWeekly Pay DaysGenerous GratuityJB.0.00.LN
