Job Description:

HumCap's client in the manufacturing space is seeking a VP of Sales to lead and manage the sales department, including setting strategic sales goals, developing sales plans, and implementing effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust background in sales management, particularly within the oil and gas and mobile power sectors.Key Responsibilities Lead and guide the sales department, setting strategic goals, crafting sales plans, and executing effective sales strategies. Identify and pursue new growth opportunities within the oil and gas and mobile power industries through business development initiatives. Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Drive sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and deal closure, to consistently meet or exceed targets. Collaborate with the marketing team to devise and execute marketing strategies, leveraging social media and other channels for visibility and lead generation. Represent the company at industry events, networking with professionals and showcasing our offerings. Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. Provide regular sales reports and analysis to senior management, offering insights for improvement as needed. Qualifications: Proven track record of success in sales management, demonstrating the ability to drive revenue growth and expand market presence. Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and mentoring high-performing sales teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, adept at building and nurturing client relationships. Strategic thinker with a keen business acumen, capable of identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in senior sales management roles within relevant industr ies
