Assists the Director of Nursing in day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department. Assists in the management of nursing staff. Completes daily rounds of the assigned units to ensure that all nursing staff are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards and Federal, State, and organizational rules, regulations, and guidelines. Completes nursing care functions for the facility. Informs staff of new admissions, reviews nurses notes, monitors medication passes and treatments, provides direct nursing care as needed. Requirements: Iowa RN license required. CPR certified At least 1 year supervisory experience required.
