Truck Driver Pay Range: * $28-$30/hour * Paid WEEKLY Truck Driver Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Deliver various types of materials that are required for each job site. * Operate truck with a standard transmission. * Responsible for proper loading and securing loads on truck and trailer. * Pick up miscellaneous materials at the suppliers. * Clean up shop and yard when not making deliveries. * Responsible for minor maintenance on trucks. * The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required. Truck Driver Qualifications: * Must have a valid Class A CDL license and a good driving record with DOT Certification. * Must be able to drive a one-ton truck pulling a tandem axle trailer. * Must have previous flat bed experience. * May be required to deliver across state lines. Truck Driver Physical Demands: * Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently. * Must be able to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time. * Must be able to sit and drive the truck for long periods of time. * Job requires considerable amounts of bending, stooping, and carrying of metal products. This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
