Job Description:

Woodward Resource Center (WRC) is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team. These are full-time opportunities with starting pay dependent upon experience with a possible shift differential of $0.90 per hour for second shift and $1.00 per hour for third shift. This position is eligible for a $3,000 recruitment payment. Speak to the Hiring Manager for more information on eligibility. The mission of Woodward Resource Center is to prepare and support individuals to live in the community of their choice. Discharge planning begins at admission. As part of the WRC team:    * Complete assessments according to WRC protocol and procedure per assignment-this may include quarterly, MOSES, DISCUS, areas of risk, etc. Nursing care will be evaluated and documented according to protocol and procedure. This may include monthly reviews, annual ISP reports, etc.   * Physical assessments are performed and documented in IPR by the end of the shift on assigned individuals. Individuals who return from the Medical Center to the house will have assessments documented according to protocol. * Illness and injury follow up and reassessment is completed according to nursing protocol. * Use universal precautions 100% of the time for all anticipated contact with blood and body fluids. All potential exposures to blood and body fluids is reported according to procedures. * Complete medication administration monitoring according to Physical Nutritional Management Team guidelines. * Monitor restraint use and maintain the Individual's safety by completing required assessments for each restraint use according to facility policy. * Administer medications, enteral feedings, nebulizer treatments as assigned. Health care provider orders will be entered in the electronic order entry system and will be timely and accurate. Orders will be implemented according to policy and procedure. Medication Administration Records will be complete and accurate. Medication orders will be transcribed accurately according to policy and procedure. * Provide ongoing training of direct care staff and other members of the IDT. * Other duties as assigned.
