Job Description:

The Lamoille South Supervisory Union is seeking applications for a Part- or Full-time Van Driver for the remainder of the '23/'24 school year. This position will have the responsibility of a designated route in the morning and/or afternoon of school days with the possibility of additional driving throughout the day. Any offers of employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a background check and fingerprinting. If you are interested in this role, we are more than willing to train the right candidate as long as they meet the below minimum qualifications. Compensation starts at $25.00 per hour with benefits. Responsibilities: * Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons. * Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound van at all times * Obey all traffic laws * Perform pre/post trip inspections of the vehicle * Ensure the safety of students at all times Minimum Requirements: * High school diploma or GED * Clean driving record * Familiar with DOT rules and requirements
