Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC)is recruiting for experienced Registered Nursesfor the Primary Care Clinics and Specialty Clinics to perform professional nursing duties in the care and treatment of patients. The position will formulate nursing diagnosis and nursing interventions based on each patient's unique needs; acquire and maintain current knowledge in nursing practice; and will utilize the information system to coordinate and facilitate the interdisciplinary approach to patient care. The Primary Care Clinics include four off-campus Family Health Centers (FHCs) that are located in Rialto (Westside), San Bernardino (McKee), Fontana, and Redlands. The Internal Medicine Primary Clinic is located on campus (ARMC Primary Care Clinic in the Medical Office Building). The Specialty Clinics, which are also located on campus include 16 Specialty Clinics with over 40 sub-specialties. This recruitment may be used to fill Per Diemvacancies. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education. License/Certifications: RN license, and Basic Life Support, and depending on the area of assignment, additional certification(s) may be required and must be maintained throughout employment. Work Environment:Requires lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance, and carrying of up to 50 pounds. The work environment may involve exposure to assaultive and combative patients. Shift Availability:ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Shift differentials are provided. Minimum Requirements Candidates must possess all of the following: License: Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing. Experience: One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience as a licensed Registered Nurse. Certification: Must possess and maintain Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
