Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Category: Student Support Staff-Classified Greater Albany Public Schools Licensed Practical Nurse Salary Level: $27.50-$32.84 per hour Classification: Classified Reports to: Director of Health Services Location: School to be determined Work Calendar: 9-month employee Shift: 7.50 hours per day Position Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide a wide range of health-related services to students in a bus, school, and classroom setting. Tasks included individual focused assessments, implementation of health plans, performing medical care and interventions, dispensing medication, and documentation, as well as general school educational tasks. This position will work with the Health Services nurse team and take direction from the District Nurse.
