Responsibilities Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking REGISTERED NURSE(S) for all shifts to join our growing team! We are a 90-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent students. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (include, but are not limited to, the following) * Serves as a role model to staff and students in dress and demeanor. * Performs proper TCI techniques, demonstrating knowledge of student and staff safety. Completes debriefings as indicated. * Renders professional nursing care to students within the treatment programs. Practices ongoing student assessment, evaluation and update of student care through observation of physical and behavioral symptoms and communicates pertinent data to other service areas as needed. Administers medications appropriately and documents all data accurately according to facility policy. Participates in formulation of individual care plans for all students and implements plan according to facility policy.
