Position Overview SouthWest Water Company is seeking a Wastewater Truck Driver to support our Field Operations McDonald Septic team. This role will transport, load, and unload equipment and provide pumping service for septic tanks. In addition, this role will locate and dig out septic tanks. What We Offer * Starting Pay Range: $58,000 - $69,000/year DOE * 401k Company Match: 100% of the first 6% of your eligible compensation contributed to the Plan * Vacation Accrual: Starting at 3 weeks per year * Holidays: 10 company-paid holidays per year * Floating Time: 16 hours of paid floating time per year * Additional Benefit Plans include Medical, Dental, Vision, Company-Paid Life Insurance and more * Training, Professional Certifications, and Education Allowance Work Location: Position is based in Redmond, Oregon. This position will be willing and able to perform the following duties and others as assigned: * Drive septic pump truck(s) * Locate and dig up septic tanks * Leave customers property in a clean and neat manner * Pump restaurant grease traps * Clean and maintain pump truck inside and out * Daily pre and post trip vehicle and equipment checks * Complete paperwork pricing * Comply with rules and regulations at disposal plants * Must be able to perform a variety of manual labor Position Qualifications * Class B or Class A License * Effective verbal and written communication skills * Ability to perform simple and accurate arithmetic calculation * Experience with GIS map viewer software * Experience using field data collection devices such as GPS, valve operating data, etc. * Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite including Microsoft Excel, Word, Windows Explorer Education and Certifications * High school diploma or equivalent is required Work Environment * Employee works outdoors and drives around in a vehicle Competencies Delivering High Quality Work Supporting Coworkers Communicating Effectively Working Safely Accepting Responsibility Acquiring Information Critical Thinking Customer Focus SouthWest Water Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
