The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care /Assisted Living regulations and follows established policies and procedures. Supported by a Director of Health Services RN, RN's, Executive Director, Resident Assistants and other interdisciplinary team members. Responsibilities/Job Description * Provides professional nursing cares and treatments * Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff * Maintains current observation and documentation of resident health status Qualifications Required: * MN LPN licensure * AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers * Able to work independently * Good communication and interpersonal skills Preferred: * Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems * Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN * Good written and verbal communication skills to engage with residents
