Job Description:

Responsibilities: Follow written orders of County Health Officer in providing daily care to ill or injured students. Maintain student records and administer medications. Perform state-mandated screenings and prepare reports as required by the State of Indiana. Insist on developing school health programs for all students in the building. Identify health problems and recommend appropriate follow-up to parents. Additional duties may be assigned to the nurse by the Director of Social and Student Services. Minimum Qualifications: Licensed practical nurse with a current active license in Indiana. Computer knowledge is required. Schedule: 7.5 hours per day during the school year on days needed ($22.75+ per hour) Pay: Commensurate with experience Benefits: Group Insurance Programs; PERF; Paid Leave Days.
