(PRN not included in this rate) * Shifts: $2,500 sign on bonus for PM shifts; $3,500 for NOC + Shift Differentials * Classification: Hourly, non-exempt. Full Time & Part Time available. What do we need from you? (Please note, this list is not all-inclusive and other related duties may be assigned) * To provide the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing and directing the nursing functions of residents within the assigned area. * To initiate and implement resident care plans * To maintain acceptable standards of patient care * To help us identify potential problems and help us find the solution * To implement physicians orders accurately and promptly * To prepare and administer medications and intravenous solutions ordered by physician skillfully and correctly. * To maintain the standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting. * To support and enforce infection-control policies and procedures. * To be resourceful and remain calm in emergency situations. * To keep Nursing Supervisor informed of patients, needs, and problems on the nursing unit. * To cooperate and maintain a good rapport with colleagues, medical staff, other departments, and visitors. * To accept assignments as needed to provide necessary care for residents. What do you bring to the table? * Registered nurse (R. N.) with valid license. * One to two years of experience in a long-term care environment, preferably. * Graduate Registered Nurse (GRN) will be considered if licensure is received within forty-five days of employment. * Computer literacy. * Great interpersonal relations with proven communication skills, both verbal and written. Other federally regulated requirements: * Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check, including (MVR) moving vehicle records. * Must have or be willing to receive the Flu-Shot Vaccine, and TB testing. * Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis. * Must be willing to undergo biometric screening.
