Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated. About the Role: Come be the face of Supply Chain at Grocery Outlet as a CDL delivery driver. We are looking for amazing people who are ready to join a rapidly growing team. As a deliver driver, you will represent Grocery Outlet by building relationships with the Independent Owner Operators (IOs) to support our stores' inventory and ensure customer satisfaction. The Perks: * $2,000 sign-on bonus * Local deliveries only so you are home daily * Paid holidays and vacation * Incentive bonuses available * Average 2-3 stops per day * Partner vendor backhauls * Well maintained quality equipment Responsibilities Include: * Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections, immediately reporting any deficiencies, improper operation, faulty equipment, and/or unusual conditions * Operate truck safely and sanely to deliver undamaged product to assigned stores * Work as part of a cohesive team * If disaster strikes, report all accidents involving driver or company equipment * Communicate with customers and coworkers with respect, professionalism, and enthusiasm * Comply with all company policies, along with Federal and State regulations, including maintaining records About The Pay: * Base Salary: $28.00 hr * 401(k) with profit sharing * Medical, Dental, Vision & More! * Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location. About You: * One year driving experience * Clean driving record * Ability to lift up to 50lbs * Ability to sit, stand, bend and twist as needed * Valid Class A-CDL Driver's License * Understanding of Department of Transportation regulations * Knowledge of basic math, as well as multi-step written and oral instructions * Ability to write routine documents and speak clearly * Positive attitude and flexibility when working with others * Must pass drug and background check
