Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.57 (Based on experience and/or education) This temporary position will be assigned to DPS Prisons Administrative Services. This position will conduct medication administration, submit refill requests, assist with medical emergencies, assist with medical care with ordered procedures and assist with provider clinics. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies [NOTE: Qualified applicants must meet and reflect on their application training and experience and all knowledge, skills, abilities and any experience or competencies specified in the supplemental question(s) to be considered.] * Documented knowledge in the principles and practices of nursing care. * Documented knowledge in planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. * Documented knowledge of medication and medical terminology. * Documented knowledge in communicating information to patients related to treatment and patient care. * Must have a current, unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Licensed to practice as a PracticalNurse in the State of North Carolina.
