LPN Weekend Warrior NEW STARTING RATE: $31.00 SIGN-ON BONUS: up to $3,000 SHIFT: Weekends, work 25 hours and get paid for 37 BENEFITS: * Up to $3,000 Sign-on Bonus * Weekly Paychecks * Shift Differentials * Referral Bonuses * Peer Mentorship * Generous Paid Time Off JOB DESCRIPTION: LPNs promote residents' health, wellness, and illness prevention through daily nursing and personal care endeavors. An LPN works under the direction of a registered nurse and is responsible for handling a diverse range of tasks, including administering treatment or medications, performing clinical procedures, documenting clinical data of patients, and more. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensures the care and safety of all residents in the nursing unit * Ensures that individual care plans are followed * Administers and documents medications, treatments, and other nursing services * Makes a count of controlled substances on the assigned nursing unit * Records current condition of assigned resident in EMR * Receives and gives an accurate report of the resident condition at shift change * Communicates to the nursing team and medical provider as indicated and required * Assists in the orientation of new staff * Maintains competency in all the tasks needed by CMS REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum 18 years of age * New York State Licensed Practical Nurse licensure * Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions * Basic computer knowledge, PCC e-MAR experience preferred * Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds APPLY ONLINE OR SEND YOUR RESUME TO: Roscoe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Attn: Rebecca Shean, Recruiter 420 Rockland Road Roscoe, NY 12776 TEXT: 845-861-1750 for more information ABOUT US: VestraCare is a portfolio of five health care facilities in New York state, including: Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk; Roscoe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Roscoe; Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boonville; and Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Johnson City.
