We are looking for a Vice President to join our team, managing digital integrated communications campaigns across a variety of industries - from energy to health to financial services. In this role you will have the opportunity to evolve corporate communications and public affairs in the digital space, pushing the boundaries of digital content, analytics and amplification on behalf of global executives, Fortune 500 companies, and inspiring causes. As a member of our U.S. Corporate Digital leadership team, you will build culture, up-level client work, expand our collective capability, and drive growth. What You'll Do: * Serve as a primary client contact on accounts, providing senior digital expertise and account leadership, addressing issues thoughtfully and effectively * Drive creation of integrated communications plans that meet client objectives"¯in the areas of social media strategy, digital platform and campaign development, research, content amplification and analytics * Research and evaluate new digital channels, content opportunities, real-time conversations and influential voices participating online * Closely track communications marketing trends to bring fresh thinking and best practices to clients * Coordinate with other discipline experts (e.g., earned media, paid media, design, crisis) as needed * Manage multiple projects from concept to completion by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, offering client counsel, overseeing quality, and ensuring deadline and budget adherence * Build relationships with third-party influencers and internal business partners to meet client needs * Delegate to junior staff and help motivate and coach team members; manage up to senior staff and consistently provide feedback that helps drive efficiency * Contribute to business growth by introducing clients to new capabilities, building network of industry contacts and participating in relevant professional organizations * Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills * Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman's values (Quality, Integrity, Respect, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Mutual Benefits) and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Basic Qualifications: * At least 8 years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields * A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications: * Is passionate about client service, new ways of thinking, and teamwork * Relevant professional experience in digital marketing, social media, public relations, advertising, consulting, media, publishing or a related field * Has 5+ years' experience acting as senior client-relationship manager, responsible for managing teams, qualifying business, scoping and project management within budget * The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms and digital environments, a proven ability and passion for creative thinking in partnership with other strategy leads, creatives, influencer marketers, paid media and analytics team members * The ideal candidate will also have experience developing differentiated executive positioning and thought leadership programs. * The ideal candidate will have experience working in highly regulated industries or on business deals, transactions, etc. * Candidates should have experience in content planning, production, and management for brand campaigns and more evergreen efforts * They should be able to speak to previous responsibilities developing and executing plans to meet measurable client goals, as well as ability to manage senior client relationships at the executive level * They should be comfortable managing across levels internally inside of a matrixed organization #LI-JS2 PAY RANGE: $99,000 - $180,000 An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
