Day to Day Responsibilities: Maintain a working relationship with the contract security provider, with a focus on hiring needs and contract security officer performance Coordinate new hire security officer post specific training and annual refresh trainingConduct alarm and CCTV monitoring, and manage access control for the site Support emergency response, to include medical, fire and hazardous material incidents • Conduct interior and exterior security patrolsObserve, detect, deter, and report security related incidents that pose potential risks and threats to company assets Provide daily reports and documentation of incidents Support investigative matters with initial fact finding and ongoing action through partnership with Security Operations and Investigations Provide a wide range of customer service related tasks Establish and maintain a solid partnership with site leadership, supporting the organizational strategies of both Global Security and the facility Assist with the coordination of technical/ vendor support with the CGS Service Delivery Team Maintain an understanding of CGS security standards, security policies and procedures and provide security awareness to employee population Ensure functionality and compliance with security technology and programs Participate on CGS and facility project teams Travel Requirements: Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: (M-F), with flexibility to support a 24/7 operation when needed Required Education:High School Diploma/GED Required Years and Area of Experience: Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the security field Required Skills: Valid driver’s license Ability to obtain a valid New York State security guard license Desired Experience / Qualifications / Skills: 2 Year College A.S. degree Knowledge of alarm and video platformsKnowledge of visitor management and case management systems Soft Skills: Sound judgment, confidence, and the ability to make solid decisions Ability to maintain a high degree of integrity and confidentiality Effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels of the corporationAbility to work independently and be self-motivated, as well as a team player Positive attitude, high initiative, and strong work ethic Ability to coach and facilitate team involvement Ability to multi-task Technology oriented This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
