Minimum Qualifications Years Experience: 5+ years with an IT Consulting Firm or Managed Service Provider(s) Experience in the following areas: ● Windows Server 2008/2012 ● Virtualization including VMware and Hyper-V ● Cisco/Meraki Firewalls , Switches, and Access Points including CLI-based routers ● Sonicwall firewalls ● Ability to provide training in cloud technologies including Google Apps, Microsoft 365, Rackspace Cloud / Hosted Exchange and Amazon Web Services ● DNS/DHCP/VLANs ● Backup Methods and Products ● Disaster Recovery Planning and Simulation ● End-user support, customer service Bonus Skills ● Experience with cabling and/or building out server rooms ● Networking Certification(s) ● Strong Mac Helpdesk / JAMF Experience About the Job This is a full time, salaried position for an IT Consultant/Engineer/Project Manager who will be responsible for supporting multiple businesses across many industries. The ideal candidate is hard working, analytical, forward-thinking, team player, outstanding communication skills, and has the ability to learn technologies quickly. Candidates from similar organizations (IT Consulting / Managed Service Providers) typically make a good fit. Responsibilities The right candidate must be able to support multiple clients across platforms, and oversee and lead projects. Some project based work includes new server build outs, email migrations, and new office planning. The candidate will troubleshoot issues with firewalls, servers, email services, and provide general helpdesk knowledge.
