UNICEF USA seeks an intern for its Project Management Office, specifically for cleanup of the digital asset repository, reviewing visual assets produced from both UNICEF USA and UNICEF offices across the globe and optimizing the quality of the repository. We are currently seeking unpaid interns for our fall cohort that will commence September 17, 2019 and end December 13, 2019. Project Management Office Intern This internship would provide an opportunity to learn about: Learn fundamentals of digital asset management UNICEF programs and operations Key Responsibilities/Projects: Review, analyze and catalog large volumes of company-related video, photo and designed assets Delete assets that do not meet criteria of belonging in the repository and those that are repetitive of the same event or field visit Work with the creative team to curate the best assets for the DAM for staff use As necessary, add appropriate metadata for assets that will remain in the system for easier searches Uploading and tagging new chosen assets Participate in project-related meetings Qualifications: Must be a current student enrolled in a College or University degree program Interest in non-profit, digital assets or related field preferred Must have strong written and oral communication skills Must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail Able to work both independently and collaboratively Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint,Excel Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, social media applications and SEO best practices Must be a highly motivated team player who enthusiastically embraces the mission of UNICEF and UNICEF USA Must demonstrate UNICEF USA Core Values: Trust, Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Teamwork and Service Time Frame: Fall 2019 Days per Week: Flexible, preferred full days Hours per Week: 15-20 hours This is an unpaid internship.Travel stipend will be provided.
