Job PurposeThe Warehouse Management Systems is a critical platform to support PFS business performance and growth.The objective of the WMS Analyst is supporting PFS WMS to ensure performance is stable and in line with operational service levels; the WMS analyst will also participate to project activities, performing design, configuration, integration, testing and training tasks to ensure project delivery meets and exceeds time and quality standards.The WMS analyst will operate as member of the PFS WMS application team, interacting directly with PFS business users during both support and project activities. The incumbent will contribute to the improvement of system support, system development and project deployment processes by embracing a culture of operational excellence and delivery focus.Key ResponsibilitiesBUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSYS: Understands PFS operational process flows and related WMS system capabilities. Works with PFS business teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and speed of internal operations by improving process and/or system capabilities.OPERATIONAL SUPPORT: The role will ensure operational service levels for the WMS systems are met by addressing 1st level and 2nd level support tickets related to user requests or system alerts. The WMS Analyst will work independently to troubleshoot and solve system issues, as well as design, configure and test application enhancements and system reports. The incumbent will define task priorities according to severity levels and schedule work accordingly. She/he will update status and progress of tickets and requests, updating users accordingly. PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION: The role will participate (and lead depending on project size) WMS project deployment activities at PFS warehousing sites, performing design, configuration, integration, testing and training tasks to ensure project delivery meets and exceeds time and quality standards. She/he will provide training to business users, including, but not limited to, navigation through WMS screens and data processes. The WMS analyst will work with users and the rest of WMS team to confirm project delivery and transition to on-going support.CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: The WMS Analyst will work with the rest of the WMS application team to identify opportunities to improvement ways of working and procedures, proposing changes which result in more efficient and more agile support performance and project delivery.EducationBS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or equivalent work experience).ITIL or WMS training/certification is a plus.ExperienceMinimum of 1-3 years of experience in system support, development and deployment.Experience with WMS systems such as JDA, SAP, HighJump, Accellos One is a plus.Experience in Supply Chain/3PL industry is a plus.SkillsStrong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, and facilitation skills. Ability to communicate with users having different levels of experience.Self-sufficient and capable to work independently, with attention to detail and capability to multi-task.Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
