As one of our engineers, you will help create robust and dependable products while using your creativity and determination every day to design new solutions for our customers. We have a team of seasoned mechanical design and manufacturing professionals where we help train and mentor any new team members. If you are interested in pursuing a career in the growing field of wire forming automation solutions, please feel free to submit your resume.Job ResponsibilitiesDesigning around current solutions or developing new machines in wire forming automation and assembly systems.Design products using Solidworks, and consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasibleDevelop proof of concepts to help ensure final design feasibility using standard manufacturing methods.Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standardsConsult with fabrication teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when requiredResearch competitor products quarterly and collaborate with product development team to generate ideas for making our products the best ones on the marketMaintain accurate and complete project records; document progress in detailed reports which indicate audit, verification, and validation of processes and designsUse your manufacturing experience to develop cost effective solutions that are robust and help reduce time to market.Attend weekly team meetings to provide progress reports, obtain updates on colleagues' progress, strategize on steps for following week and acquire information about projected emerging product linesWork with the machine building team to ensure final design specifications are met and that there are no manufacturing issues with machine builds on standardized products or new designs.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical or related engineering field Strong Solidworks CAD skillsFamiliar with robotics and servo systemsPneumaticsStrong Problem-solving skillsTeam player with the ability to work on their ownStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood grasp on mathematicsStrong Work ethicDecisiveness5% or less travel*No Recruiters Please
