They are seeking a Mechanical Designer to support a team responsible for delivering products across the globe.Required skills/experience:AS in Engineering or drafting/design with a minimum 3 years of experience designing mechanical assemblies to customer specifications and fabricatedProficient with 3D modeling software, creating detailed drawings, and documenting accurate bill of materialsWorking knowledge of the manufacturing or fabrication environments involving Sheetmetal, weldments, rotating equipment, brackets, and/or fabricated assembliesPreferred skills/experienceProficient with Solidworks and additional add-on applications to such as DriveworksGeneral knowledge implementing fits and tolerances as well as special concepts in order to develop detailed modelsExperience working with manufacturing floorPrior experience interfacing with clientsProven experience troubleshooting existing problems within the manufacturing process and improving design
