GIS AnalystRobert Half Technology is partnering with a client in Baton Rouge, La seeking a GIS Analyst to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Pipelines, GIS databases, GIS mapping, and GIS software, and have proven experience in the industry. This role is in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and does not support C2C or sponsorship.Not sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.Responsibilities:• Analyze and interpret complex data to meet the needs of the oil and gas industry• Use GIS - Graphic Information System to support pipeline management and T4 permitting• Work with GIS PODS Database to ensure accurate and efficient data management• Utilize the ESRI suite, ArcPro, ArcDesktop, and other relevant software to perform tasks• Handle PMHSA Reporting requirements and maintain compliance• Execute GIS mapping tasks to support planning and decision making• Query and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations• Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity• Use Microsoft and other computer hardware tools in performing job functions• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and deliver solutions.Requirements:• Demonstrated experience in the Oil & Gas industry• Proven expertise as a GIS Analyst• Experience working with GIS databases, GIS mapping, and GIS software• Experience querying, analysis & prep of PODS database• Understanding of Pipelines• Strong problem-solving skills• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Able to multi-task and manage time effectively• High attention to detail and accuracyRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
