EpitecCheck you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below.POSITION:Software EngineerJOB TYPE:Full-time, Contract, W2, RemoteLOCATION:Menlo Park, CAJOB SUMMARY FOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER:Seeking a Software Engineer for our leading Technology Client, located in Menlo Park, CA.RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER:The main function of a software engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of ML systems, pipelines, and software.A typical software engineer in this role researches, designs, develops and tests ML systems and pipelines, data-intensive systems for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific and general computing applications.Modify existing data and ML systems.Write and code logical and physical system descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.Work as part of a project team to coordinate development and determine project scope and limitations.Review project requests describing user or compliance needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER:Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.Knowledge of computer hardware and software.Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as python, spark etc.Familiariy of ML systems a plusSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER:Modify existing data and ML systems.Write and code logical and physical system descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.Work as part of a project team to coordinate development and determine project scope and limitations.Review project requests describing user or compliance needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.BENEFITSMedical, Dental, PTO, Holiday tailored to meet your needs. 401K/Match, $15,000 Life Insurance, Award-Winning Employee Care Program.
