If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.Overview: Florida Engineering is currently seeking a Traditional/Full Reserve Study Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience conducting reserve studies (Inspections, Analyses & Writing reports). This candidate should be comfortable executing these reports, performing on-site inspections and communicating directly with the client. Communication is key when providing status updates, collecting all needed information to perform the reserve studies, as well as responding to needed changes or updates from the client. After time with our firm and training, this role will grow, and you will serve as the lead representative of our firm on new incoming traditional reserve studies while having the support of our engineering teams and leadership. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering is preferred but not required 3+ years prior related experience in Reserve Study (Inspection and Writing Reports). Familiarity with estimating Labor and material cost, in Florida, based on National handbooks, for maintaining and updating various building elements, Including: (Elevator Control; Fire Alarm; Pool Water Pumps; Windows & Doors; various types of Roofing; Exterior Stucco walls and sidings; Electrical; Plumbing; etc...) Ability to read and understand equipment tags (Mechanical & Electrical) Comfortable traveling to job sites when needed: Job sites are scattered across the state of Florida, including some up to a 5 hour drive. Florida Engineering will pay for all travel accommodations and provide company vehicle. Ability to climb ladders and go up on flat roofs. Ability to withstand outdoor hot Florida summer days weather.
