Our client is currently seeking a full-time Operations & Maintenance Manager for a highway operations and maintenance project in the Denver, Colorado area. The O & M Manager will beresponsible for the profitability and reputation of the project with a focus on client relations, staff performance, and financial performance This position requires knowledge of P3 project processes, maintenance or construction work program and budgeting, and highway maintenance and construction activities. The O & M Manager must have the ability to manage a staff of 14 engineers and maintenance technicians; assign and oversee maintenance and operations work tasks on a daily and weekly basis; and work with and effectively communicate with other project team members such as the construction contractor and the owner. He/she must have proven ability to develop and implement a planned and systematic approach to time management, project management, and problem solving.The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications. Responsibilities: with the Regional Manager in the project planning and budgeting processresponsible for the effective and efficient execution of the maintenance and operational functions of the projecttraining, and developing the in-house technical work force staffclient and owner communication including attendance and presentations at coordination and review meetingsprocurement and oversiteresponsible for building the reputation of Jorgensen in the local marketplace as a leader in the maintenance field Required Experienceconstruction or maintenance experiencemanagement or supervisory experience dealing with highway construction or maintenancewith database management systemsleadership experiencein establishing priorities and managing time dependent heavy workloadsverbal and written skillsto develop and present various types of technical and operational information within a meetings contextAdditional Preferred Experience Experience with projects using Colorado DOT standard specificationsManagement systems knowledge such as PMS, MIS, a-connect, and GISExperience with Microsoft office productsQualifications:Qualifications: High School Diploma with additional courses focused on highway construction or maintenance plus 15 years' experience in highway maintenance at Supervisory Level or above.Qualifications: BS in Civil, Mechanical, or other engineering discipline with minimum of 10 years' experience in highway maintenance in public or private sector. Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e., criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)presentation skills and ability to communicate a message in a clear and precise wayto manage conflict resolution in a professional mannerof OSHA and other agency safety standards and practices as applied to highway maintenance operations and work activities.of heavy equipment capabilities and use as applied to highway maintenance or construction activities.Work Schedule: Full time (40 hour per week on salaried basis). Must be willing to work flexible schedules to meet project production requirements and travel for company meetings and training.
