Job Description:

This Senior Quality Engineer position is responsible for directly interfacing with customers, managing customer quality, and identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives. This position will be responsible for meeting the required response timing per customer-specific requirements and driving robust corrective and preventative actions. This senior-level position will also assume a leadership role within the quality organization. Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.Key Responsibilities:Statistical expert (perform statistical analysis of cpk/ppk analysis and trends), Black Belt or Shainin Cert preferred. Participate actively in PFMEA and QCP creation/updatesTrack Quality KPIs in launch (CNQ, fall out in sorting and Customer Concerns)Share lessons learned to launch team DMR/NCM Management opsFacilitate Problem Solving (tPS and pps) and Concern Management on Shop floorDrive CIMS projects and CNQ ReductionDrive Product/Process Improvements together with PEBuilding collaborative relationships with the customers to effectively manage the expectations, responsiveness and concern handling. Collect, organize, monitor, and communicate information and reports related to the Management System and process improvements.Interface with internal systems relative to Quality (LN/GQS/etc.)Interface with customer systems and update as necessary.Data entry, creating, filing, organizing, and communicating documents as required.Champion Diversity & Inclusion in line with the Company guidelines.Other duties as directed by the Quality Manager.Formal qualifications required:BS in an Engineering related field with 5+ years' of automotive experience.
