SIKORA International Corp manages the sales and service of industrial measuring equipment for customers in North America. The company manufactures measurement and control systems for the production of wires, cables, hoses and tubes. A variety of technologies including laser, x-ray, inductive, millimeter wave and optical systems are employed in a variety of gauges to measure different aspects of product quality and process control in these applications.Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.Sikora is seeking a Field Service Technician who will be responsible for supporting customers in their plants. Support activities include commissioning (installation), training, troubleshooting, and repairing SIKORA equipment. Travel and time spent onsite with customers, some international and within North America, can be up to 75-80%. Typical travel is Monday to Friday, although some weekend work may be expected. This is not a remote position.
