You will work in tightly-knit, project-oriented teams as a Principal Investigator with other scientists and engineers to design, prototype, implement, and deploy leading edge concepts into mission support capabilities. You will have the opportunity to support and lead research and development programs in support of maritime domain capabilities. You will have the opportunity to leverage CRA's extensive intelligent systems portfolio, attend technical and domain area conferences, and move the state of the art forward.How will you make an impact?Design new methods or apply existing techniques to solve complex problems across a range of sensing, perception, autonomy, and maritime operations challengesFormulate new ideas and develop proposals for new capabilitiesWrite technical papers and reports on existing workPresent your work to stakeholders, collaborators, operators, and the research communityGuide prototype and product development while engaging with end-user communities and technology partnersWhat Do you need?M.S. in Engineering, Science, or related area, with Ph.D. preferred10+ years in oceanography, marine vehicle autonomy, machine learning, sensor processing and analysis, or related fieldUS Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearanceExperience directly interacting with customers, users, and technical expertsExperience leading programs as a principal investigatorExperience writing technical proposals and generating new businessExperience translating user community needs and system features into actionable requirements for engineering teams to produce technical capabilities Why Charles River?Charles River Analytics is a 100% employee-owned company that thrives on collaboration and values each employee-owner.
