This translates into active involvement in a variety of activities and organizations, which provide many opportunities for education and growth for our employees.ResponsibilitiesPriorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:Cut/fill balance grading design in AutoCAD Civil 3D and prepare design package.Provides drafting support and performs drafting assignments for different projects.Assists in planning drafting jobs and preparing drawing lists and coordinates job with professionals, detailers, and checkers.Performs drawing checks to confirm accuracy and acceptability guided by company and/or client drafting standards/specifications, engineering computations, and sketches.Coordinates the drawing files creation and deliverables of the project with the project lead professional.Design, Design Coordination, Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Delivery, coordination, Services during construction.RequirementsEssential Skills and Experience:Technical or high school degree5 years' experienceWorking knowledge of standard engineering software required: AutoCAD and Civil 3DREVIT knowledge is a plusCivil Site Drawings preparationStrong analytical and communications skillsAbility to design in AutoCAD Civil 3D design packageHigh level of proficiency with cut/fill balance grading design in Civil 3D.Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary engineering teamKnowledge in local and national codes and standardsAbility to coordinate with other disciplines and projectsIt is CSA policy to hire, train, promote, compensate, transfer and administer all employment practices without unlawfully discriminating on the basis of sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), race, age, creed (religion), color, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, national origin, disability, predisposing genetic characteristic, marital status or domestic violence victim status, or any other basis prohibited under applicable law.
